Updating work flows | Reusable Templates | DESIGN SYSTEMS
With respect to confidentiality, this page provides a high-level view of my UX work and contributions to the product. Iād be happy to discuss my work in greater detail.
My Role and Experience
In 2021 Thomson Reuters rolled out the newly restructured design org. Designers were working in dedicated pods, and I was moved to the Tax and Accounting portfolio.
My design pod operated at partial capacity with 3 UX Designers, 2 Content Designers, a dedicated A11y Specialist, a dedicated UX Researcher, UX Producer, and Product Owners based in Tennessee.
AuditLite - Registration Redirect
Background
Confirmation planned an interim experience (internally called AuditLite) projected to last approximately 1-2 years within the legacy product (internally called CurrentGen). Audit Lite combined elements of both CurrentGen and NextGen as an incremental approach to building and releasing NextGen (the Confirmation Northstar project that planned to capitalize on future market opportunities in asset verification and audit lite.)
Registration Redirect aims to successfully triage new U.S. accounting firm registrants into the first version (MVP) NextGen system while allowing existing CurrentGen users to remain in the existing platform. This is until the product is ready for full migration.
A new Design System and reusable templates For Asset Verification
I represented the Confirmation pod to attend ongoing meetings with the Saffron Design System team. I did an inventory of Confirmation to highlight the most needed components and provided numerous re-skinned wireframes for reference and guidance.
Once the Saffron design library was released and Confirmation began to focus on NextGen, I created templates of designs we worked on to ensure consistency across project files and to maintain links to the Saffron library.
